The Assessment, Curriculum and Technology Research Centre (ACTRC) is proud to announce the appointment of its Director, Dr. Nona Marlene B. Ferido, as a member of the Standing Committee for Teacher Education and Development by the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM 2).
This recognition is a testament to her decades of dedication, vision, and steadfast commitment to advancing education. We are confident that Dr. Ferido’s expertise will greatly contribute to strengthening teacher education and shaping policies that will benefit educators and learners alike.
With Dr. Ferido’s appointment, two senior staff members of ACTRC now serve on the EDCOM 2 Standing Committees. Senior Research Fellow and former Director Dr. Marie Therese Angeline P. Bustos also serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and Basic Education.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Ma’am Marlene as she takes on this vital role, and we look forward to supporting her endeavors. ACTRC takes pride in the appointments of Dr. Ferido and Dr. Bustos, whose expertise reinforces EDCOM 2’s mission to elevate standards across basic and teacher education.
