Australia, Philippines launch a new education research partnership
ACTRC formally launched on May 2, 2013. The event was held at the College of Education, University of the Philippines. The Centre was launched by the Secretary of the Department of Education of the Philippines with Directors Associate Professor Esther Care and Dr Nemah Hermosa. The event was attended by Australian Ambassador Tweddell, AusAID Minister Counsellor Borthwick, and University of the Philippines President Pascual, as well as undersecretaries of the Department of Education and related stakeholders, and representatives from Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, and WorldBank.
