ACTRC held its Advisory Board meeting on 21 February 2019 at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas. Members of the board included representatives from the Philippines Department of Education, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade – Australian Government, University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies (CIDS), Basic Education Sector Transformation (BEST), and SEAMEO INNOTECH.
ACTRC Directors Dr Marie Therese A.P. Bustos and Professor Field Rickards presented the current status and future directions of the Centre. ACTRC Research Officers shared the results of completed projects and provided updates on current research undertakings. The Board provided advice on aspects of projects for further investigation and how the findings can be disseminated to inform education policy in the Philippines.
