Jeneva A. Vergara is a Research Officer at ACTRC where she is currently involved in the Baseline Study on Language Match and Teacher Assignment in BARMM. Her previous research experience was with the Philippines Department of Health (DOH) where she served as Project Associate and Trainer in survey methodology and field operations for the country’s first National Survey on Mental Health and Well-being. She also served as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the Philippines Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in its community empowerment project in the Caraga Administrative Region.

Jeneva’s research interests are in financial time series, data science, and risk modelling. She is pursuing her MS degree in Statistics at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, and is currently working on her thesis on estimating value at risk through GARCH models.
